YOU are the business card of the organization, because you have a lot of contact with guests and make sure every time that their afternoon or evening is successful. Together with your colleagues you work on the optimal experience, by creating a cozy atmosphere and quality to work.

Your work will consist mainly of the following tasks:
Welcoming guests in the restaurant at the entrance and making sure the guests are seated at the right table. Once the guests are seated, you take care of the drinks per person and you hand out the menus. When the guests have made their choice, you write everything down accurately so you can add it to the system and the kitchen can get to work.

PING! The bell rings in the kitchen: time to serve the dishes to the guests' table. In between you check if everything is to their liking or if you can order new drinks, so you're always up to date and keep the guests happy. At the end of the evening you take care of the bill and payment. Another successful evening with satisfied guests! After the departure of these people, you make the table neat again for the new guests. Ready for the next one!

It is also possible that you will be deployed at the bar, so that keeps your work nice and varied. No day is the same!

The shifts are from 12:00-20:00 and from 17:00 to closing time. You can also indicate your preferences, so the restaurant manager can take this into account. You will receive your schedule once every two weeks.

• A pleasant part-time job in Nijmegen and surroundings, where you can start working quickly;
• A gross hourly wage of €10.48 (21 years and older), excluding 8.33% vacation pay;

• You choose a weekly or 4-weekly payment of your salary;

• For your possible travel costs you will receive a reimbursement of €0,19 per kilometer;
• You build up vacation days based on the days you work. This is for a full-time employment, 25 days on an annual basis;
  In addition to your work, you can make use of more than 100 online courses and training programmes via GoodHabitz.

You recognize yourself in the following qualities and requirements:

• You are guest friendly, communicative and enthusiastic;
• You like to work in a team, where together you go for the ultimate goal; creating a nice evening for the guest;
• Preferably you can walk with 3 plates at the same time. If this is not the case, the organization can provide specific training;
• You are stress resistant, have an eye for quality and are involved.

Further:

• Are you flexible per week, in consultation with the restaurant manager;
• Preferably you have at least 1 year of experience as a waitress or a comparable position;
• You are available to work both during the week and on weekends;
