Mechatronics Engineer

For a company in the windindustry we are looking for an enthusiastic Mechatronics Engineer to join an exciting project. The company develops solutions to drive an energy transition. As a engineer, your responsibilities will among others be:

• Build and test high-end mechatronics equipment
• Improve assembly procedures
• Work in close contact with the mechanical and electrical engineers to optimize the design for
  the following: reduce costs, ease of manufacturing, ease of assembly, ease of service,
  improved performance & improved reliability
• Develop new test procedures, write protocols, develop test stand material and improve where
  necessary

• You are studying, or you have completed a MBO or HBO degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• You are fluent in speaking and writing English
• You have knowledge of the program SolidWorks
• You have hands-on experience with the development of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• You are experienced with prototype and small-series assembly
• You are a problem solver for both mechanical and electrical challenges

The company you will work for is active in the windindustry, with establishments in The Netherlands, Japan, China and the VS. They are relatively young (30 years) but expects to be growing even more in the future. You will be working for their location in Enschede, Kennispark.
