Parttime Kitchen Employee

One of the Netherlands' most unique and exciting parks gets to finally open their doors again after the pandemic; the Apenheul! This park is truly one of the most interesting places you could work as this park is literally a forest where monkeys get to roam free! How cool is that!

We are currently looking for Kitchen Employee that can help us out at some of the many restaurants, bars and stands that are spread out around the park. The Apenheul really values giving their visitors an amazing experience, and you can really make a difference as Kitchen Employee. It is your job to make delicious foods and drinks for the visitors and make their day one they will never forget.

So, what are your responsibilities as Kitchen Emplyee?

• Chopping and preparing vegetables
• Cooking burgers
• Managing the fryer
• Preparing Drinks
• Cleaning Dishes
• Cleaning the kitchen
• Maintaining food safety regulations

The park is open 7 days a week from 9:00-19:00
Also, you will have the opportunity to schedule your own work days!

The gross hourly wage as a Kitchen Employee varies according to age:
15 years old: €5,00 gross per hour
16 years old: €5,50 gross per hour
17 years old: €6,00 gross per hour
18 years old: €6,50 gross per hour
19 years old: €7,00 gross per hour
20 years old: €8,39 gross per hour
21 years old or more: €10,48 gross per hour

In this job as Kitchen Employee you will receive:

• The opportunity to schedule your own work days
• The possibility to be paid every week or every 4 weeks
• Travel compensation of €5,70 per day
• Parttime of Fulltime hours
• Temporary work (Tijdelijk dienstverband)

• No Dutch required!
• No prior kitchen experience required!
• You work precise and responsibly
• You are available for a minimum of 16 hours per week of which 1 day is in the weekend
• You are able to keep up with cleaning standards and work according to food safety regulations

Apenheul is a park located in Apeldoorn that has over 35 different species of monkeys and apes. Some of these beautiful animals even roam certain areas of the park freely where visitors have the option to really interact and connect with the monkeys. They are also part of several breeding programs and also support global wildlife preservation organisations in order to protect these animals from going extict. The park has rougly 500.000 visitors per year, making them a very popular choice for a fun day out!
