DHL Express Delivery driver

At DHL Express in Den Haag, Delft (Den Hoorn), we have vacancies for enthusiastic delivery drivers (B drivers' lisence) who enjoy being on the road and want to earn a salary of €14.46 per hour. As a delivery driver you play an essential role in timely delivering 50-80 packages per day to our customers. Each shipment has its own story, whether you're delivering a package to a CEO of a large company or to Mrs. Janssen next door. Both are looking forward to your arrival.

Within our team, you can choose from two schedules:

• Daytime routes from 08:00 to a maximum of 19:00 (4 days a week)
• Afternoon-evening routes from 13:00 to a maximum of 21:00 (5 days a week).

What does your day look like?

• Before you start your delivery round, you and your colleagues gather for a briefing with the supervisor.
• After loading your van, you ensure that all 50-80 packages are delivered on time.
• With your customer-oriented approach, you provide the necessary support and information to our customers when they have questions.
• Additionally, you perform administrative tasks such as checking customs documents and waybills to ensure that shipments arrive at their destination quickly and on time.
• If there is any extra work that needs to be done, you jump in without hesitation. We go that extra mile!

As a DHL Express Delivery Driver in The Hague & Den Hoorn, you will benefit from the following advantages:

• You will earn a gross hourly wage of €14.46.
• You will receive a temporary contract for 34 hours per week, with the possibility of a permanent contract based on excellent performance. Parttime possible, atleast for 2 days a week!
• You are entitled to 25 vacation days and will receive 8.33% holiday allowance.
• We offer a reimbursement for travel expenses based on the number of kilometers up to a distance of 30 kilometers (one way).

As a DHL Express Delivery Driver, you are:

• In possession of a valid B driver's license with the HARD REQUIREMENT OF 1 year driving experience.
• Highly customer-oriented and enjoy direct interaction with customers.
• Proficient in at least the basics of the Dutch language or English language.
• Able to obtain a Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) without any issues.
• Eager to step into the distinctive Yellow-Red van and cover plenty of kilometers with enthusiasm!
