Wat ga je doen?
SEACE is in line with the growth in search of a colleague for the new position as a Accounts Payable Accountant. The volume is getting bigger and bigger so a new fulltime Accounts Payable Accountant is necessary to facilitate the growth of the company. The actual processing of invoices is done by the Samsung Shared Service Center in Romania. The Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for keeping a helicopter view and solve problems concerning Accounts payable processes. It is a new role so there is a lot of room for suggestions and improvement.
Your main responsibilities are:
To perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
Provide financial and administrative support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are properly booked, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Secure the general accounting activities are properly executed and work with management and other departments in whole Europe to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of financials, reconciliations, audits.
The role can be divided into 3 sections: vendor management, reporting and other tasks such as:
Secure accuracy and timeliness of cut off, journal entry postings, reporting and reconciliations for financials to support HQ closing and consolidation.
Adhere to and improve the period ending closing schedule, within the rules and regulations of the company to ensure a smooth closing process.
Support internal and external audits.
Monitor and improve the relationship with SSCE and other Samsung entities
Support business where required based on priorities set by management.
Wie ben je?
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Controlling or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of financial experience. Preferable AP experience on international (EMEA) Finance within a mid-sized organization.
Experience with compliance reporting and internal control.
You are easy going, able to take ownership/responsibility.
Proven motivated and inspirational professional with energy, open mind and team spirit, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Fluent English. Any other (European) language is a plus.
Flexible, no 9-5 worker, dynamic.
