At DHL Express in Nieuw-Vennep you work in a professional, friendly depot where you start and end your day with colleagues, but spend most of your shift independently on your own route.

You also benefit from a good hourly wage of €16.60 plus 6.24% flex budget, 8% holiday allowance, travel allowance and a flexible contract of 24–32 hours per week. You start with a temporary contract, with a real chance of a permanent one when things go well for both sides.
A day:
- Route preparation:
You start at the depot, check your van, scan and load parcels in a logical order so you can work efficiently and safely on the road.
- Driving and navigation:
You drive mainly a fixed region, follow the navigation system and adjust your route when needed to deliver on time.
- Parcel handling:
You lift, sort and deliver parcels carefully, making sure everything arrives undamaged and at the right address.
- Customer contact:
You greet customers, answer simple questions, handle signatures and represent DHL Express in a friendly and professional way at every door.
- Administration and safety:
You work with a hand scanner, keep your delivery data up to date and follow all traffic and safety rules to keep yourself and others safe.
