Bike courier Rotterdam

As a bike courier at DHL Express in Rotterdam, you start your shift at the depot, where you pick up your loaded bike and scan your packages. After a short check of your route and gear, you head into the city. Throughout the day, you ride through different neighbourhoods, deliver packages at homes and offices, and stay in touch with your colleagues via your handheld device. You finish your shift back at the depot, where you hand in your bike, complete your last scans, and have a quick chat with the team before heading home. 🌆

What you’ll be doing:

• 🚴 Deliver packages by bike in Rotterdam, safely and on time.
• 🗺️ Plan and adjust your route so you can work efficiently through the city.
• 🤝 Have friendly and professional contact with customers at the door.
• 📦 Check and scan packages during loading and unloading to keep everything correct.
• 🌱 Contribute to a cleaner city by using the bike for sustainable deliveries.

• 💰 Hourly wage €16,60 up to €21,58 plus flexbudget
• 🕒 Flexible shifts between 24–40 hours per week
• 📅 Weekly or four-weekly salary payments, direct pension accrual
• 🏖️ 8% holiday pay, 10% vacation hours, travel allowance

You are a reliable, city-loving bike courier who enjoys combining outdoor work with customer contact in Rotterdam.

• Je bent physically fit and comfortable lifting various packages.
• Je bent available 3–5 weekdays, including every Friday.
• Je hebt good English skills for customer and team communication.
