Do you enjoy driving through the Utrecht area in the evening and like combining independence on the road with friendly customer contact?

As an evening courier at DHL Express in Utrecht, you start your shift at the depot, where you prepare your van and route together with your colleagues 🚐. After that, you are on the road in Utrecht and the surrounding area, delivering shipments to both private and business customers. You work in the early evening hours, so this job fits well next to your studies, another parttime job or family life. At the end of your shift, you return to the depot, finish your administration and have a short check-in with the team before you head home.

Wat je gaat doen:

• You start at the depot, check your route and load your van in a logical and safe way.
• You drive your evening route in Utrecht and surroundings and deliver shipments on time at the correct address.
• You have friendly contact with recipients, answer simple questions and represent DHL Express in a professional way.
• You scan parcels, process signatures and keep your trip administration up to date in the system.
• You follow traffic and safety rules and work together with colleagues in the depot to keep the process running smoothly.

• Earn a starting salary between €16.60 and €21.58 per hour, depending on your experience and role.

You are a reliable evening courier who enjoys driving, helping customers and representing DHL with a friendly attitude.

• Available three to five evenings, Monday to Friday
• Available daily from 17:30 until 21:00
• At least two years valid Dutch driving licence B
• Good command of Dutch or English, spoken and written
• Able to request VOG and handle parcels carefully
• Living in Utrecht region, VMBO level or higher
• Customer-friendly, responsible and eager to learn for 3+ months
