Your responsibilities as a bike courier in The Hague:
Parcel preparation:You start your shift at the DHL Express location, where you sort, check and load parcels onto your bike so every delivery is complete and ready to go.
- Route planning:You plan and adjust your bike route through Den Haag, using your knowledge of the city and traffic to deliver as efficiently and safely as possible.
- Customer service:You ring the bell with a smile, hand over parcels, answer simple questions and make sure each customer feels helped and informed.
- Safe handling and transport:You handle parcels with care, secure them properly on your bike and follow all traffic and safety rules to protect yourself, others and the shipments.
- Teamwork and communication:You stay in touch with your colleagues and coordinator about progress, delays or changes, so the whole team can keep the delivery process running smoothly.
