Forklift Operator Warehouse

Working hours: Part-time, approximately 3 hours per shift, up to 16 hours per week

Hourly wage: €16.11 per hour for employees aged 18 and over

Would you like to work morning or evening shifts as a forklift operator and be part of an international sorting process at DHL Express in Den Hoorn?As a Forklift Warehouse Operative at DHL, you will work in the sorting centre where international shipments arrive and are dispatched. Your shifts will be varied: one moment you will be moving pallets with a forklift, and the next you will be helping with loading and unloading or checking shipment labels.You will work shifts of approximately three hours, making this job easy to combine with your studies, another job or your personal life. Together with your colleagues, you will make sure that packages are handled safely, efficiently and on time, so they can continue their journey around the world.

What will you be doing?

• Moving, stacking and preparing pallets and containers with a forklift for the sorting process.
• Loading and unloading vans and trucks and checking that shipments are handled correctly and safely.
• Sorting packages by postcode and country and checking labels to make sure shipments reach the correct destination.
• Building and breaking down containers, stacking packages securely and following safety instructions.
• Working closely with your colleagues and team leader to make sure the morning and evening shifts run smoothly and on time.

• Hourly wage: €16.11 gross per hour for employees aged 18 and over
• Salary payments: Choose to receive your salary weekly or every four weeks
• Flexible working hours: Shifts of approximately three hours per day
• Holiday allowance: 8% holiday pay plus 10% holiday hours accrual
• Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometre for commuting to and from workl

You are a reliable forklift operator who enjoys working hands-on as part of an international warehouse team

• You have a valid forklift certificate and recent forklift driving experience.
• You are physically fit and able to lift packages weighing up to 20 kg.
• You live in or near Den Hoorn and can easily commute to the location.
• You speak sufficient Dutch or English to communicate clearly with colleagues.
• You are flexible and available for morning or evening shifts and enjoy working as part of a team.
