Schedule yourself through Marketplace
You can see in your ASA schedule which shifts are open and which ones you could/would like to work. That way, you can schedule yourself directly.
Here is how it works:
- You go to your candidate portal and then via My Assignment to Planning (the same place where you already submit your availability and can see your shifts).
- Then navigate to the week in which you want to work. If there are shifts on the Marketplace for you, you will see the Show Marketplace button.
- Now click on Show Marketplace and click on the shift(s) you want to work.
- Then click Apply and we will immediately know that you are available for this shift.
- ASA will then assign the shift to you or not. It will appear as Planned Final in your portal and you will also receive an e-mail from our planning system.
- If we cannot assign you after all, you will see this in the status Marketplace Refused and also receive an email from our planning system. You can see more information in the following document:
Available shifts
At the moment, CSU offers shifts every week on Monday and Friday. To view the exact available shifts you can take a look at the marketplace in the ASA Portal. If we get any new shifts on other days in the week we will show them on the Marketplace as well.
If you are registered for a day job it is possible to cancel it up to 2 workdays in advance. If you don’t show up or cancel within 2 days, we will register this in your profile as a NO SHOW.
-One time, no problem (everybody can make a mistake).
-Two times, suspension for a period.
-Three times, we must deregister you.
When you are sick and scheduled for a shift, it’s really important that you contact ASA as soon as possible. You need to call us by phone via 043-3211313 immediately in the morning at 8:30. This way we can try to find a replacement for you. Cancellation is not possible by mail or WhatsApp!
Before you start your shift you always check in at the CSU representative. They will give you instructions what to do and who you will be working with!
When you work a 4-hour minimum shift, it is mandatory to take a 30-minute break. This break is NOT paid. Please keep this in mind when working. If you do not take the break, the 30-minute break will still get deducted from your worked hours, so you must take the 30-minute break during the day.
When you finished your work you will get back to the CSU representative and check out your shift. This is really important to register your worked hours!

For this shift, ASA Maastricht will NOT provide transportation. Instead, you can take the following bus from the Maastricht station to Cauberg.

Transportation from the ASA Maastricht office to the CSU-location.
For this shift, ASA Maastricht will provide transport to and from the location. Before every shift we will meet in front of the ASA Maastricht office (Keizer Karelplein 28 in Maastricht) in the morning. We will then bring you to the location.
At 16:00, you will be picked up again at the same spot you are dropped off. If you know for sure your work will take longer then 16:00, please contact the responsible team leader at the resort. We want to prevent your colleagues are waiting in the bus for a long time, instead they can help you to finish asap!
Dresscode
Please make sure to wear neutral, everyday clothing. Since you are cleaning, wearing new clothes is not recommended. In case of shorts, these need to reach over the knee. No slippers, crop tops or open shoes and no visible brand names are allowed.
You may receive clothing from CSU at check-in. You must wear this so that you are recognizable and visible at the resort. At the end of the day, this clothing must be returned at check-out.
Important items to bring
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING A VALID ID CARD OR PASSPORT (A DRIVERS LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). If you have a RESIDENCE PERMIT, please ensure you bring it along.
If you do not bring this, you will get sent home and you do not get paid for the shift or travel costs.
Make sure to bring some lunch as well. You get a 30-minute break every shift. On most locations there is no possible way to get lunch at a store or canteen, so make sure to bring it with you.
